Live Public Safety brings public-safety radio communications from across Hampton Roads into one organized listening experience. Coverage is being built around Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Navy Region Mid-Atlantic systems.
Dispatch, tactical and emergency medical communications from supported public-safety radio systems.
Available law-enforcement channels where communications are publicly monitorable and technically accessible.
Public works, military fire and emergency services, interoperability channels and other regional radio traffic.
Listening access is provided through approved Live Public Safety accounts. Authorized listeners can use the ThinLine Radio app to hear available channels, review recent calls and follow the systems that matter to them.
Live Public Safety is designed for listening through the ThinLine Radio experience on supported devices. Account-based access keeps each listener's channel selections and alert preferences separate while allowing the service to expand to additional regions over time.
Live Public Safety is an independent regional radio-monitoring project built to make public-safety communications easier to follow in one place. The goal is simple: organize live radio traffic by region and service so listeners can stay informed without sorting through unrelated channels.
Live Public Safety is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, emergency communications center, military installation, police department, fire department, or EMS agency.
